AFS Family Support Services assists families in the following ways:

Stabilize the behavior of families, children, youth and adults

Guide and encourage adults and youth to make positive life choices

Empower parents and caregivers to become effective parents through developing the necessary resources and skills

Collaborate with families to develop a strength-based support system to become self-reliant

Reinforce the strengths of each family to maintain family preservation and maintain children/youth in a permanent and stable family setting
